We're not a fashion brand. We think of tees, like software. We're two product/tech people who couldn't find a good structured and heavyweight tee, one that had real weight and real structure but didn't suffocate in Indian heat. So we spent eighteen months with manufacturers, building the fabric from scratch. Sample after sample until something clicked.

We made fifty for ourselves. People wanted them. That was Subtle. We keep the range small and obsess over every batch - fit, fabric, finish.
